Omg I had almost the same thing happen! Met this amazing artist at a local art fest, we chatted about sketch styles and I swore I’d follow her later… took me months to find her handle and yep, totally private I didn’t wanna seem weird sliding into DMs, so I checked out https://viewverio.com/ just to see if she’d posted any new pieces publicly. It actually helped me confirm she was still active before messaging — ended up commissioning her after all, and she remembered me!
