This blog points out how to use VS2013 to create EC2 instances in AWS using the OpsWorks AMI on AWS. In this post, I want to highlight some of the exciting new features in the release of Amazon Linux 2. Amazon Linux 2 has many new features and updates, the new GA release of the Amazon Linux AMI adds the following new features- Amazon EBS snapshots. Previously, Amazon EBS snapshots were not available on Amazon Linux AMI. Amazon EBS snapshots can be created and managed from within an EC2 instance instance. You can use the snapshot to create an image or clone an existing image or create a new AMI.
