And I knew from the start that we were going to have to take a shot at doing an entire reel of the movie. And the studio was OK with that. We had six reels of film and we were going to do it and they were going to do it. They said, “No, we’re going to do it. We’re not going to change your schedule.” And we were going to try and make it happen.
We had to pull five people together. We found a director that I had worked with, a friend of mine, Dave Fleming, who had directed a comedy called Never Shoot a White Boy that I had done the sound on. We were going to do a version of Buster Keaton: A Hard Act to Follow. And it was going to be a big, five-hour movie.
Photoshop has been the most widely used editing tool for digital images since the 1980s. It has been used to edit photographs, illustrations, logos, and other graphics, as well as prepare and print documents including printed material for books, newspapers, and other publications. However, it is capable of many other functions, as well. A specialized business version, Adobe Photoshop CC, is available for commercial use. A similar program, Adobe Photoshop Elements, is available for home use. It has a lower price and fewer features but is otherwise similar to Photoshop.
Adobe Photoshop's usage for image editing is now commonly extended to mean editing any digital image, photo, or graphic, and the meaning has been extended to any digital image manipulation software that works the same way. Photoshop is still the standard, but nowadays other image editing programs are widely used. Many of them are image editing programs but also include other functions beyond the usual image editing, such as word processing software. This often forces the users to use several different programs in order to achieve the desired results. Free alternatives to Photoshop include GIMP, the GNU Image Manipulation Program, Paint Shop Pro, and a wide range of third-party freeware programs for Microsoft Windows. For macOS, similar alternatives include Apple's Aperture and iPhoto, as well as the open-source GIMP. 827ec27edc
